welcome to practitioners, a magic focused community set in the fictional countryside town of tippering, england. we are slightly different from your usual supernatural community in that we are focusing on witches and warlocks, as opposed to other magical species. for more information on the setting of practitioners, see here. the usual rules of rp apply here - keep ic and ooc drama separate, and any bullying, harrassment, or anything similar will result in removal from the comm. we also ask that you utilize trigger warnings on your updates, if necessary, to ensure that this stays a safe space for all writers! after the first round of adds, practitioners will become invite only. we encourage people to use our storyline post or pbads to find connections!

applying & activity

applying is simple! all we ask for is the following: ✔ an ic or ooc username, with no extra numbers, letters, etc ✔ a backdated friends only post ✔ a backdated ooc info post, which should at minimum contain your character's name, age & birthdate, magical status (the only playable characters are witches and warlocks), occupation, and a small blurb. this doesn't need to be anything too in depth, we recognize that sometimes you need to write a character for a bit before you get the perfect handle on them ✔ a comment in our storylines post - this is a small town game with a small town feel, so we want to get to know your character at least a little! we reserve the right to reject anyone we feel is not a good fit for the community. if your application has been deleted, that means you have been rejected. we will not answer inquiries about rejections. activity requirements will be simple, as we're only looking for one update a month. while our hope is that members will be inspired to update more often, this is the minimum! anything that shows some effort will be accepted. if you are added after the 20th of the month, you will only be required to intro. in lieu of traditional, individual intros, we will host an ic ffa with every round of adds. we're hoping this helps foster the cozy small town vibe we're going for!
